Yesterday I started to get really sad. I was going through some of our things in preparation for our move which happens THIS Tuesday. So far the whole we're-moving-thing hadn't really hit me yet. And I guess I haven't mentioned it on the blog yet bc I have been too busy. Anyway, long story short, baby number three is on the way and we knew this little town home wouldn't be very accommodating to a family of five. So we put it up for sale, only to find that our town homes have gone waaayyy down in market value. We basically knew we really needed to sell though, so we are taking a loss on our end of the deal. Tyler's parents have been nice enough to let us live with them while we recoup from our loss on the town home, so on Teusday we are moving in with them!
So anyway, yesterday when I started going through some of the kids things, I got hit with a wall of memories of our 3 years and 3 months in this place. This is the house we brought both of our kids home to. We have had four Christmas' and lots of birthdays here. The laughter of children has filled these walls. We have had many happy times, as well as hard times in this place. We have grown to love the ward here. We have made good friends here. The list goes on and on. So yesterday as I thought of all that I started to feel sad and got a little teary eyed. But then I realized that no matter where we move or live, as long as we are together it is home, and anywhere we move we will create happy memories, and make new friends. I feel sad to move, but I also know that this is the step we are supposed to take right now. We have lots of opportunities in front of us, and I am excited about our future together as a family

A Catch-Up Post
So basically I haven't blogged in a million years! And one word ( well mostly) explains my slackerism- yes, i made that word up, and thought it quite appropriate to describe my state over the last month-and-a-half. Ok so anyway, that one word would be pregnancy. When I first announced I was expecting I felt fabulous! That soon changed and I felt really nauseated all the time until just recently. I am starting to get back into my groove now and it feels so good! I felt like a lazy mom who never did anything when I was feeling sick. I did not like that feeling at all. Anyway, there is my explanation for my long absence.
I mainly need to catch up on our Christmas season festivities. It was a fun Christmas season because Dawson was so, so excited about the lights, and the tree, Santa, and Rulolph, etc. It was hard because there were so many fun things I wanted to do with Dawson and Addy but I just couldn't bc I wasn't feeling well. We did manage to fit in some pretty fun stuff though.
.
Dawson has quite enjoyed the snow this year. His favorite thing to do is shovel the yard. When we went to visit Alli and Brad in Rexburg to see their new baby there was a lot of snow on the ground. Dawson saw all that snow and said "Should of brought my shovel."
One Saturday we went to a tree farm that had Santa, a hay ride, and a petting zoo. The kids loved the petting zoo portion!

We started the season off making Christmas cookies. Addy LOVED it! She was chowing down on that dough.
She is such a little ham when the camera comes out.

Dawson was very worried the camel was going to bite him.
Cutest-little-donkey-ever
We went and saw Santa at the Williard lights one night. Addy HATED him. I guess he was a little creepy. He told me to sit on his lap with Addy, and look at that face.
Lights at Temple Square.
Tyler, remember that one time we were like "oh yeah! We should take the kids to see the lights in the wagon! They would love it." Bad idea. Since they were facing each other they just picked on each other and made each other cry the whole time, ha ha.
Christmas Eve in their Christmas PJ's
Christmas Morning
Nice hair babe!
We didn't take many pictures of Christmas morning bc we were busy recording instead, but I guess we made up for it by taking lots of other pictures.
And that was our merry Christmas.
