All We Need is the Sun in the Sky

Summer is here! Oh how I love the Summer! I came across this quote and had to add it in today's blog because it speaks to my soul!

"In the depth of Winter, I have finally learned that within me there lay an invincible Summer."
-Albert Camus

We have been swimming and playing in the water a lot. Summer nights are my favorite. Everything cools down a little and it is so nice to go for walks and spend time outside. My kids are turning a copper color and getting bathing suit tan lines with all their time in the lake and at the beach. Well, except for Brooks that is. He just stays white.

After Dawson's Awards Ceremony for soccer.

Brooks loves playing in the bottom of the armor

Jam Sesh

Random Picture bc she is soo cute

I made this Apron for Addy for Easter bc she always wants to cook with me.

Words cannot describe Brooksi-Wooksi's love for this dirt bike.

A Walk with Bear the Dog.

I can't keep him off this blasted thing.

The kids love Mimi's new baby goats

This Sums up Addy and her silly personality.

Happy Memorial Day

The Grill Master

Nice Zayah

Addy's hair isn't really on fire. Promise.

Dawson made his bike into a car.

That can't be comfortable.

A picture that Dawson drew of him and Addy. Presh!! It looks like it says Daddy but he just put the D in his name above the rest of his name.

Randomness

These kids of mine just love the beach!!

Wooksi just sat and dug with that shovel for probably thirty minutes

The dirt road leading to our house. The kids always stop right here to "swing" on a vine that hangs from the trees.

My cute Cowgirl
Dawson just had to stop and get a pic with this shark that we saw on the way to a friend's pool. Addy was too scared to go in the sharks mouth.

A day on the waterway near our friends, Nikki and Zach's, house. Dawson was soooooo excited to ride in this paddle boat.

Poor Brooks was like a beached whale in this life jacket. He couldn't roll over or get up.

Nikki and Zach took us on the boat to Lee island. It was so pretty.

Not a very good pic but this is "Bear the dog" as we call him. He is a frequent visitor and my kids love him.
My diy project. I got this for free from a friend, and after many hours of work, I am quite pleased with the outcome!
