Funny Kids

Cute things Dawson and Addy have said to me recently:

Addy: "Mom, did you build me?" I thought it was very smart of her to ask that question. She must have been doing some serious analyzing before she asked me that. I told her that Heavenly Father made her.

Tonight we went to get the car washed, and when Dawson saw the girl who was helping us he said "I am gonna marry that girl!"
I asked what about her made him want to marry her and he said "I just think she is beautiful." Oh Geez I am going to have my hands full/
On our way to Mona to see my family, Adam and Kyrsten, and my Mom's family. Brooks' face cracks me up! He wasn't crying, he was just making a funny face at me.

The kids had a great time at our picnic at Bear River near Mona.

This guy was happy as long as he had some rocks to throw. I love the outdoors soooo much. And I love how much my kids love being outside. We were constantly outside while we were visiting with my family, and it was my happy place. My kids are so good when they are playing outside.

Bridal Veil Falls in Provo with my family. I love miss Vannah!

My brothers are the best!

Sista love. When did Vannah get so grown up????

Reading the scriptures Andrew sent from his mission.
Also, speaking of Andrew. I just love Andrew so much. There is something so special about him. He is so good to my kids and he has such a good heart. He left on his mission to New Mexico in February, but just this past week had to go home. He was having some problems with his health. He passed out one time while teaching a discussion, and had been having bad headaches, and nausea and feeling like he was going to pass out all the time. He is home getting all of his medical stuff figured out, and then he will be able to go back on his mission if everything is able to get taken care of within the next three months.

She loved second cousin Dallin sooo much

We went to see Jenn and Tayson, and Jenn's adorable new little guy, Keaton. Dawson and TAyson were not in the mood for pics.

Oh beloved Befondah. EAting with the family at Cafe Rio.

Ch-ch-ch-changes!

Well, we have had a crazy year filled with changes. In February We moved to NC, then in the end of June we drove back to Utah for a vacation to see Tyler's family, and before it was over, we had signed a contract to build a house in Utah! No one was more surprised than me. We loved NC, it is a great place, but we felt it would be best to be back in Utah since Tyler's company is based here. Our house is going to be finished in January, and we are living with Tyler's family until them. They are nice to let us live with them again!
Tyler flew back to Utah and then his dad flew out there also and helped him drive our things back. I wouldn't have been ok with not going back to say good bye to my family, but as it turned out my family also had a trip planned to come to Utah to see my mom's side of the family, so I was able to see them quite a bit and say my goodbye's to them. More about that in my next post.
I am soooo excited to have our first house built!!

Miss Addy Rose

I had written a post about Addy when I wrote one about the boys, but it got deleted somehow. So here is another one.
Addy just lights up my life. She is just the most happy girl. When she smiles, her eyes get all squinty because of how big she smiles, and her laugh is just so adorable.
People stop me everywhere I go to tell me how beautiful she is. She is smart as whip and knows most of her letters.
Addy is a good listener, and she gives the best hugs where she wraps her arms tight around my neck. She loves to try to tell Brooksi (that's what she calls him) what to do, and she gets a little frustrated that he wont let her hold him. I think she really just wishes Brooks was a little baby she could take care of and cuddle.
She loooovvveees to help me cook, and especially like to help me make smoothies.
She is in a phase where she is really into princesses right now.

Addy has a baby doll who she named Befonda (a spin-off of the name "Lafonda" from Napolean Dynamite), and this baby goes everywhere with her. Everywhere. When we went to eat at Cafe Rio, Befonda ate with us while sitting in a high chair at our table. She goes to church, and Addy is always sharing with her and telling everyone to be quiet because her baby is trying to sleep.
Here she is with the beloved Befonda and her squinty eyes.

Love you Addy Rose. Don't ever change. You are as beautiful inside as you are on the outside.
