A Hairy Situation

Dawson cut Addy's hair upon her request. I was so sad.

But then this happened. . .

It is soooo cute!!

So I was happy again:) And now she doesn't scream her head off when I brush her hair.

St. George Vacation

We decided spur of the moment last week that we should take a trip to St. George. The weather was supposed to be awesome, and we thought it would be dun to hike, swim, and see Adam and Kyrsten (they just moved down there).
For some reason these loaded in reverse order, but just as a recap, on the way to St. George we stopped in Beaver at the cheese factory and got some yummy ice cream! That night we stayed at a hotel and went swimming, which the kids loved. The last two days we stayed with Adam and Kyrsten. They live right up the street from the temple so we took a couple walks there, went to dinner, hiked, went to the awesome St. George children's museum, and had a great time. It was over too soon!

The St. George landscape is so pretty!

Dance Class

Addy loves her new dance class!

Dawson's First Snow Boarding Adventure

A few weeks ago Tyler took Dawson snow boarding for the first time. He is so good at skate boarding that we felt like he would be ready for snowboarding this year. After a difficult first run don the hill, Dawson picked right up on it and Tyler said he did amazing. I loved watching the videos after they got home!

Nice and sweaty at lunch.

Taking a break

After about 5 or 6 hours of boarding, he was one tired guy!

Christmas (Yes I know it's half way through February)

So one of my goals for 2015 was to blog once a week. Yeah. . .I have some catching up to do. That's ok because I have about three or four posts to do today!
Christmas was awesome! It was our first one in our new home which made it really special. Adam and Kyrsten came to spend Christmas day with us which also made it super fun. We have so much fun with those two.
It was even a white Christmas! And that is saying something since that is about the only real snow storm we have had this winter. Not that I am complaining.

These bottle pops from Adam and Kyrsten may have been the kids' favorite Christmas presents.

All Dawson wanted for Christmas was a nerf gun.

We had so much fun in the snow!

Addy is not a person who enjoys the cold, and preferred to stay inside cuddled up with Kyrsten.

Brooks, on the other hand LOVED the snow.

Adam is the best!

We went sledding twice, but this is the only pic I got of it bc my darn camera kept dying.

Later that night we had Christmas dinner, complete with sparkling cider. It was a happy Christmas!
