I will start you off with a few kiddo pictures:)
This picture is from our grocery shopping extravaganza. I spotted this cart and thought it would solve all of my grocery shopping problems, aka, Dawson having to sit in the back of the cart with all the food, which led to him trying to open everything, take eggs out of the carton, etc. They were getting along great here, but pretty soon that changed. They started bugging each other, and then Addy started crying bc Dawson scratched her and wouldn't leave her alone. By the end of out trip I was caryring Addy in one arm, pushing the cart with the other (and this cart was not easy to push!), dealing with Dawson as he kept wanting to get out, and chucking groceries in as fast as I could so I could get out of there! Usually grocery shopping goes a little smoother than this for us, but it was just one of those days!
Addy just loves this wagon! I can take her and Dawson to the park and she loves to sit and play with toys in the wagon and munch on snacks.
I have a funny Dawson story. The other day we were walking to church and Tyler handed Dawson one of his church manuals to carry. Dawson looked at it and said "is this about President Monster?" Yes, he was indeed referring to President Monson. Needless to say, Tyler and I had a good laugh about that one!

parade and Dawson had a blast. This was the first year where he totally got what was going on. He was dancing and clapping as the bands and floats went by. And he was quite excited about all the candy that was being thrown his way. Addy was happy to hang out in the shade of her stroller and on the camp chair.
Later, we went to see the new Madagascar movie with Tyler's family. I had to go out about halfway through because Addy was being loud and cranky, but from what I saw it was a cute movie. After that we hung out with Tyler's family until fireworks that night, and had a Barbecue. Tyler's mom, Shelley, made some dang good food, and I stuffed my face! Also, there is this guy in their neighborhood who owns and old, antique firetruck. Every Fourth of July he makes stops throughout the neighborhood and takes kids for rides. Dawson was big enough to go this year with the help of Tyler's brother, Carson. We walked up to the corner where Carson told us the fire truck would stop, and when Dawson heard the siren he was so excited. He was in Heaven when he got to ride on it. I so wish I had a picture of that!
Later we went to the fireworks. Dawson was jumping up and down squealing "FIREWORKS! FIREWORKS!" and everyone around us got a chuckle out of that. It was such a pretty night, and a good end to our holiday!
